Private antenatal care
We offer consultant led
private antenatal care and delivery of your baby at the prestigious
Portland Hospital for women and children. We offer services ranging
from the complete PRIVATE PACKAGE to one-off consultations.
Private Package
You may choose to join us for
private antenatal care at any time during you pregnancy, from the
initial positive pregnancy test at Day 1 to the time of delivery.
From whatever stage you join us, you will have your very own
Consultant Obstetrician. You will be seen at our clinic at 35
Devonshire Place, London for all your antenatal check ups, scans and
blood tests. You will have an emergency mobile telephone number for
access 24 HOURS PER DAY in the event of an emergency. Your baby will be
delivered at The Portland Hospital and will see you every day whilst
you are in hospital. You will be seen again in the clinic for a 6 weeks
post-natal check up.
"One off consultations"
If you are having your
baby within the NHS but wish to spend some time with a Consultant
Obstetrician discussing your pregnancy or any problems or anxieties you
may have, or simply wish reassurance that all is progressing normally.
We would be delighted to see you for a "one off" consultation,
antenatal assessment and scan if required.
Ultrasound scans
A Further option is for you
simply to attend our clinic at 35 Devonshire Place for your routine or
extra ultrasound scans, which can be arranged at times convenient for
yourself and your partner to attend. NO GP referral letter is required.
We are accredited by Private Medical Insurers (BUPA, AXA PPP etc).

Gynaecological services
A full range of gynaecological services is available, including
transvaginal pelvic scans and routine annual gynaecological check-ups.
We are registered with all major medical insurance companies, including
BUPA, PPP, WPA, Norwich Union and many more. Contraceptive advice
postnatally is available including the fitting of coils within the
clinic at Devonshire Place.
Thin-Prep PAP smears are available including the investigation and treatment of abnormal smears.
