Baby Premier Presentation Scan - 35 - 42 weeks

What is a presentation scan?
A Baby Premier presentation scan identifies the position of your baby within the uterus, this information will aid your midwife or obstetrician when planning your delivery. We will also review your baby’s well being and perform a growth assessment. In very late stages of pregnancy some fetal measurements can be difficult to obtain due to fetal position, making a full growth assessment to not be possible. Every effort will be made by the sonographer to obtain the measurements required where possible. At the end of your scan you will be able to take away a supply of 2D black and white prints, however, again at very late stages of pregnancy optimal 2D images can be difficult to obtain.

Preparing for and during your scan
• You will receive a confirmation letter and registration form
• Please complete registration form and bring along to your appointment
• It is helpful to also bring along your maternity notes
• Allow 20 - 30 minutes for your appointment
• If requested we will send a scan report to your obstetrician or midwife
